Gold Live Trend MCX gold and silver are trading lower in early morning trade on Monday with the US dollar showing strength against the Indian Rupee. MCX silver May contract is trading at Rs 55,590, down 0.39% as of 10:48 AM IST while MCX gold June contract is trading down by 0.33% at Rs 28,493 At the COMEX, both gold and silver contract are also trading in the red. Meanwhile, the Indian Rupee also weakened against the US dollar, climbing by 0.14% to 51.665. Base Metal Live London Metal Exchange base metal prices showed a mixed trend on Friday. Aluminium Alloy, Nickel and Tin prices gained on Friday while all other metal prices futures headed in negative direction. LME copper fell by 0.18% to $8165 a metric ton on Friday after data showed China's economy grew slower than expected in the first quarter, reviving doubts about second-quarter demand from the world's biggest copper user. Silver looking good for buy from the level of 56220. Spot silver prices declined around 0.7 percent on Monday on the back of weak sentiments in global markets. However, weakness in the US dollar index cushioned sharp declined in the white metal prices. Silver touched an intra-day low of $ 31.28/oz and ended its trading session at $ 31.5/oz yesterday. International Crude Update U.S. crude oil futures rose in early Asian trade on Monday after the Greek parliament approved a deeply unpopular austerity bill to secure a second bailout from the European Union and International Monetary Fund and avoid a messy default. On the New York Mercantile Exchange, crude for March delivery gained 63 cents to $99.30 a barrel as of 0017 GMT. In London, ICE March Brent crude climbed 54 cents to $117.85. Gold Updates Gold strengthened on Monday in line with gains in shares and the euro after Greece's parliament finally approved a deeply unpopular austerity bill to secure a second bailout from the European Union and the IMF to avoid bankruptcy. MCX Commodity  All Commodity Today fall, Gold, Silver & Other base metals were down today. Nymex crude oil prices declined sharply by 1.1 percent on Wednesday as economic concerns heightened and led to worries over demand, especially from the US. The Federal Reserve said in its FOMC statement yesterday that there was significant downside risk to the economy. Prices slipped on the back of this and did not find any respite even after decline in weekly crude oil inventories.

Crude Oil Price Crude oil recovered from its lows today as equities stabilized and dollar dropped following reports that Greek creditors are headed toward an agreement to roll over a major chunk of their holdings of that nation's bonds into longer maturity debt. The commodity dropped in Asian trades, extending the latest sell off as equities slid and concerns that the International Energy Agency (IEA) could initiate efforts to supply more crude oil in the world markets.  Gold Price Gold is mixed today after last week’s 2.4% fall.
